Where

Where are we located? La Zucca B&B is located in the true city centre of Mantua. You can find it between Via Orefici and Erbe Square, near Via Calvi and not far from Saint Andrew's Cathedral.

Our location, along with our convictions, encourage you to support the use of public transportation systems: both for your arrival and during your stay here.

Train: The Mantua rail station is just 10 minutes on foot from La Zucc B&B however you can also take bus number 1, that stops right in front of the Station (Piazza Don Leoni) and in front of the Saint Lorenzo Church (on our side). To reach us by walking, after leaving the train station turn left towards the town centre, until you arrive in front of Saint Andrew. A Taxi service is also available at the Train station.

Bus: The Apam Bus Station is also just 10 minutes on foot from La Zucca B&B, although there is the 1 circular bus who stops right in front of the Station (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II) and in front of the Saint Lorenzo Church (on our side). The regional bus stop is in Mondandori Square, take the exit behind the Ticket Office and you will be in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, turn right and head towards the town centre (Saint Andrew Cathedral).
Taxi service is available at the Train station.

Car-where to park we suggest the closest free parking area Anconetta. From any direction you arrive follow the direction towards Palazzo Te and the Stadium. Once you are close to the Stadium take Corso Garibaldi: it is a huge four lane divided street. Follow this street till you arrive near Via Cardone where a signal will tell you where the parking area is.

Car-from Anconetta to B&B from Anconetta go back to Via Trieste (the second part of Corso Garibaldi) and turn right. Follow the street and enter Via Pomponazzo a one-way street in front of you. The second street on the left is Via Calvi. Via Spagnoli will be the first street on the right after the Camera gate.

Highway: The best exit to take is Mantova Nord. Take this exit, turn right and follow directions towards the city centre. Turn left and enter Legnaghese street and follow it for some 3 kms. You will then enter Mantua from the Saint George Bridge in front of the Castle. Once you are at the round-about, you can head left until you reach the corner of the Bibiena Theater, then turn left onto Via Pomponazzo and follow the street until Via Calvi. You can park in any blue payment spot. Via Spagnoli will be the first street on the right after the Camera gate, where you cannot enter.
